The Lost Wax Co. Is Coming to Historic Ghent This Fall

We're thrilled to announce that Lost Wax is expanding with a brand-new retail location in Norfolk's historic Ghent neighborhood.

This fall, we'll open the doors to our new 1,900-square-foot storefront at 308 W. 21st Street in The Palace Shops and Station, one of Norfolk's most beloved shopping and dining destinations.

For years, Ghent has been known as one of the city's most vibrant and welcoming communities. With its tree-lined streets, historic architecture, independently owned businesses, and strong sense of neighborhood pride, Ghent has cultivated a culture that celebrates creativity, individuality, and connection.

It's also a neighborhood that embraces diversity. Annual traditions like the popular Ghent Pride celebrations reflect the inclusive spirit that has made this community such a special place to live, work, shop, and gather. As a proudly LGBTQ-owned business, finding a neighborhood that shares our values of inclusivity, creativity, and community was incredibly important to us. In Ghent, we found exactly that.

Located in the heart of Historic Ghent, The Palace Shops has become a destination for both residents and visitors, offering an eclectic mix of boutiques, restaurants, specialty retailers, and wellness businesses. The walkable shopping district perfectly captures the character that has made Ghent one of Norfolk's most recognizable and beloved neighborhoods.

When we open in October, our new retail space will offer all of your favorite Lost Wax products, including our hand-poured soy wax candles, wax melts, and room and linen sprays.

We'll also be expanding our product selection to include bath and body products and a carefully curated collection of gifts, creating an inviting shopping experience centered around fragrance, self-care, and thoughtful gift-giving.

But our new location will be much more than a retail store.

We're designing the space to bring people together through special events, performances and seasonal experiences, and community gatherings that celebrate creativity and connection. We can't wait to share more details in the coming months.
